New Minimalist Home Design

ASH NYC, the development and interior design company—and a member of Curbed’s 2015 Young Guns class—has released a new line of minimalist, functional furniture that includes tables, stools, chairs, benches, and daybeds.

Created by ASH partner and chief creative officer Will Cooper, the ASH x WC collection was borne out of a need for products that the team could use in their own projects. Starting with the WC1 cocktail table, a simple, three-legged design constructed through a joinery method, the series expanded to other pieces that are now produced in partnership with craftsman Chris Kautz from Cranewalk.

The handmade goods come in black or white marble, natural oak finishes, and in a range of colors inspired by Le Corbusier: red, blue, yellow and green. Standout pieces include a large dining table in white oak with round legs that protrude from the tabletop; a platform-style bed with dovetailing side panels and round legs; and a series of three-legged stools that come in blue, green, yellow, and red.

The collection is available for purchase through the ASH x WC website. Prices start at $1,400 for the stool and go up to $20,000 for the dining table.
