Owners Yu and Wing Kwan Tang bought the property almost eight years ago after falling in love with its waterfront position.

“The first thing for me was the north to wide water position,” Dr Yu Tang said.
“Because we’ve got really nice wide water and skyline views, it’s really peaceful.
“We can’t actually see our neighbours across the water or on the side either.”
The two-storey home sits on a sprawling 835sq m block at 72 Blair Athol Cres.
Showcasing picture perfect opulence, it has a contemporary design with luxury features scattered throughout, including water features, an outdoor fireplace and chandeliers.
Splashes of feature wallpaper as well as natural materials, including quartz and white onyx, scattered throughout give it a sophisticated style.
“This house pretty much embodies everything I was looking for,” Dr Wing Kwan Tang said.
A combined kitchen, living and dining area is at the heart of the home, which has a floor-to-ceiling curved glass wall that frames water vistas.

Slide open the bi-fold doors and an alfresco terrace with a ceiling TV, fireplace, and barbecue expands towards the water while overlooking the pool and spa.
A large soundproof media room with drop-down projector and bar as well as a home office are also on the first floor.
The top floor is dedicated to four bedrooms, two of which have their own waterfront balconies.
A fifth bedroom that could double as a second study or gym is on the first floor.
Dr Yu Tang said most of his spare time was spent in the media room.
“I like the media room – I like to call it the ‘man cave’ but I think my wife likes to claim it too,” he said.
Dr Wing Kwan Tang also loved the versatile living space because she could be cooking in the kitchen while admiring the views and keeping an eye on their two sons.
The couple are reluctant to sell their dream home but want to move closer to their son’s school.
“When we moved here, we didn’t have any kids,” Dr Yu Tang said. “It will be really hard to replace something like this.”
