All book-lovers have a dream. It’s a simple one, nothing entirely ridiculous or unachievable. No mansion in Malibu for us (unless someone’s offering. Anyone?).
Nope, all we want is a place to read. A magical home library filled with books, cosy seats to curl up and get lost in a book in, and reading lights.
Our home library will smell of old paper. It will be filled with blankets. All the books will be organised according to our very specific system.
It’ll be a while before we finally have our happy place, thanks to extortionate housing prices and people’s unwillingness to pay us to eat large quantities of nachos while watching TV.
Until then, we’ll take vicarious joy in browsing through other people’s incredible reading spots.
