Waterstone at Wellesley will welcome the Lydicks for their performance The Civil War Letters of George and Emily on Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. The Lydicks are a family of four historical actors who will bring to light the life of Col. George Hull Ward and his wife, Emily. These two lovers, who were residents of Worcester County, Mass., exchanged over 100 letters to one another during the Civil War. Their surviving letters are housed in the archives of the Worcester Historical Museum.
