We love a good fixer-upper. We love a good tiny house. And we love when a house that’s under 1,000 square feet would make a great project. The ranch-style home at 10 Bellows Pond Road in Hampton Bays—standing just 908 square feet in size—has just come on the market for $419,000.
There’s no denying that the interiors are dated. Between the wood paneling, the carpet, and the entire kitchen from the appliances to the countertops and cabinets, it’s clear that the home was built in the ’70s. But it has a great open floor plan in the living and dining space.
Just imagine: The wood paneling is removed and replaced, the stone fireplace is cleaned up a bit, the carpet is swapped out for hardwood, and the kitchen gets a total remodel.
Built in 1972, the home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a relatively new roof that was put in about seven years ago, and is sited on a full 1.22 acres of land, which leaves plenty of room for the addition of a pool, tennis court, or expansion.
