An interior design studio and home furnishings shop is closing after nearly 30 years of business in Bethlehem.
Glen Anthony Designs at 91 W. Broad St., next to Apollo Grill, will begin an inventory liquidation sale the first week of May in advance of becoming an online-only company this summer.
The business, established by business partners George Glen Lanier and Joseph Anthony Misero in 1990, offers unique and high-quality traditional, transitional and contemporary home furnishings.
“Basically, we don’t want the responsibility of the retail hours any longer,” Lanier said. “We actually planned to retire a while back and then we got busy with some jobs. So, now, we’re ready to say goodbye to the retail part of the operation. We will still do design consultations and projects.”
